Session Description Accurate and effective documentation is a vital part of clinical care and an important element in defending a claim against professional negligence. This session will highlight some common pearls and pitfalls of documentation to help obstetrician-gynecologists mitigate risk of liability and increase patient safety and health equity. Presented from the perspective of a two practicing OB-GYN specialists who are also licensed attorneys, this session will include practical tips and tricks for documentation of OB-GYN care, particularly of cases involving medical errors or adverse outcomes.
