Myrlene Jeudy is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed a Cancer Genetics and Breast Health Fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. She also completed the City of Hope intensive course in Genomic Cancer Risk Assessment and is a member of the Clinical Cancer Genomic Community of Practice. She co-wrote the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG) practice bulletin on Breast Cancer Risk Assessment and Screening in Average-Risk Women. She has served on an expert panel for the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) which wrote the Executive Summary of the Early Onset Breast Cancer Evidence Review as well as developed educational material for women's health care providers about early onset breast cancer. She also served on the CDC's expert panel to review and develop educational material for ovarian cancer. She currently serves as the ACOG representative for the CDC's Advisory on Breast Cancer in Young Women. Her research interests currently include disparities in breast cancer risk assessment, genetic evaluation and testing.
