Dr. Monique Swain serves as the Residency Program Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. She completed a fellowship in Breast Health and Breast Cancer Genetics at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She specializes in women diagnosed with breast cancer, women at high risk for breast cancer due to abnormal genetics, including BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutations, and benign breast diseases. Her intellectual curiosity has led to first authorship in Breast masses in biological females, Controversies in mammogram screening, and the co-authorship of other articles like the ACOG Practice Bulletin Diagnosis and Management of Benign Breast Disorders. Dr. Swain serves on the Cancer Genetics and Breast Health National Committee. Dr. Swain was recognized as the 2020, 2022, and 2023 Detroit's Top Doctors in Hour Magazine, was the recipient of the 2022 APGO Humanism in Teaching Award, and recognized as 2023 Best Doctors Women's Choice Awardee.
