. Megan McKee Thomas went to Joan C Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University. She completed
her obstetrics and gynecology residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Her fellowship was completed
at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland. After graduating fellowship, she joined TriState Maternal-Fetal
Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was there for 3 years before joining the University of Kansas in 2021. Dr.
Thomas is currently a clinical assistant professor of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Since joining University of
Kansas, she has assisted in developing a maternal mental health clinic, spearheaded standardization of
inpatient notes and has dedicated her time to providing ultrasound services to the JayDoc Free clinic. She has served on
the Obstetrics quality committee, Obstetrics research committee, as well as the Society of Maternal-Fetal
Medicine clinical informatics committee.
