Wanda Nicholson, MD MPH MBA is Chair of the United States Preventive Services Task Force, a senior associate dean for diversity, equity, and inclusion and professor of prevention and community health at the Milken Institute School of Public Health at the George Washington University (GWU) in Washington, D.C and holds a joint appointment in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the GWU School of Medicine. She currently serves as a MPI for a NIH-funded study of long-term outcomes among 2,500 women following gynecologic surgery. She is vice president of the board of directors of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology; past chair of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) Diversity, Equity, and Inclusive Excellence Workgroup; and a past member of the executive board of ACOG. She is immediate past chair of the FIGO Committee on Childbirth and Postpartum Hemorrhage.
