Michelle is a third-year medical student interested in pursuing OBGYN. She is interested in women's health, fetal surgery, and MFM. Her research has been focused on substance use in pregnancy and neonatal outcomes, as well as guideline change in the context of prenatal care. She serves on her school's admissions and learning environment committees, is a Dean's Ambassador, and founded her school's chapter of the Association of Women Surgeons. She is passionate about mentorship and advocacy, and hopes to work in medical education/admissions as a future physician to continue the work to make access to medical education more equitable. She also hopes to continue working in the sphere of prenatal care, especially in informing guideline and policy change, to best influence positive maternal and neonatal outcomes.
