Dr. Katherine Rivlin (she/hers) is Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Section Chief of Complex Family Planning at University of Chicago Medicine. She specializes in Complex Family Planning, gender-affirming care and gynecologic surgery. Her research examines how policies affect reproductive health and equity. She received a BA in English from Yale University and an MD from the University of Mississippi. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York University and a fellowship in Complex Family Planning at Columbia University, where she also obtained a master’s degree in Epidemiology. Most recently, she was Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Ohio State University.
