Dr. Antoinette Allen is a general obstetrician and gynecologist who provides full spectrum reproductive health care with a special focus on Black women and uterine fibroids. She is also currently a second-year clinical research fellow in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco, and a final year master’s student in advanced studies in Clinical and Epidemiologic Research at UCSF. Her research interests include Fibroids, adenomyosis, minimally invasive surgery, alternatives to hysterectomy for abnormal uterine bleeding and uterine fibroids, medically underserved populations, health care disparities, first-generation academic mentorship. She is a recent winner of the Best Manuscript from SASGOG Abstract Award for her work on radiofrequency ablation and pregnancy outcomes in uterine fibroids and has been featured on the Obstetrics & Gynecology Green Room podcast discussing this work.
