Catherine Marudo is a student in the MD/MPH program at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She received her undergraduate training at the University of Michigan School of Public Health, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Community and Global Public Health. Catherine is passionate about improving reproductive health outcomes, especially for historically marginalized communities. Catherine aspires to be a leading expert in obstetric and gynecologic medicine and wants to dedicate her career to improving health systems in order to make birth equity a healthy default using both a biomedical and public health systems framework.
