Kaila Helm is an MD/MPH student at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She received a bachelor's degree in the Biological Basis of Behavior with a language certification in American Sign Language from the University of Pennsylvania in 2020. Ms. Helm then worked as a Clinical Subjects Coordinator for the University of Michigan's Family Medicine Department for two years. She is interested in the intersections of healthcare, disability justice, race, and language exchange.
