Session Description
During this comprehensive review of innovations in the provision of medication abortion, participants will learn how these tools, such as telehealth, providing abortion without an ultrasound or other testing and asynchronous provision, are safe, effective, and patient-centered. Through interactive discussion and case-based scenarios, participants will gain the tools and confidence to incorporate these innovations into their practice. This session will give participants a tangible, practical, and effective mechanism to reduce the harms and inequities introduced by abortion bans and restrictions.
