Session Description
Respectful maternity care (RMC) is a key component of quality care, however, a recent CDC Vital Signs report found one in five women reported mistreatment during maternity care, with Black, Hispanic and multiracial women disproportionately affected. This panel includes presentations summarizing recent data on mothers' experiences during maternity care, and the ways state Perinatal Quality Collaboratives (PQCs) are supporting the provision of RMC to improve the quality of care during pregnancy and delivery and address health equity.
