Dr. Baksh is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing from the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, where she is an Assistant Professor in Nursing. She holds a secondary appointment as an Assistant Professor in Clinical OB/GYN with Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Baksh was a founding clinician in the Firefly Program at VUMC, an outpatient addiction treatment program for pregnant people that integrates substance use disorder treatment with prenatal, postpartum, and primary care. She has published and presented nationally on screening and treating pregnant people with opioid use disorder.
