Dr. Tschann is a clinical researcher focused in complex family planning and maternal health. Her training in Biomedical Sciences was completed at the John A Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii. She holds an MPH from UCLA and a BA from the University of San Francisco.
Today, she conducts clinical trials, qualitative studies, and database analyses to better address unmet needs for patients and to reduce inequities in health outcomes. She is a co-investigator for the Family Planning Research Center of Hawaii and provides research education and mentorship for students, residents, and fellows.
