Robert Benjamin Martin, MD is an Assistant Professor in the division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. A native of El Paso, TX, he received his undergraduate degree in Human Development from the University of Chicago. He completed medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where he then went on to complete his residency in obstetrics and gynecology and his fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at UT Southwestern. Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, he joined the faculty in 2019. Dr. Martin is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a member of the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine. Dr. Martin is the medical director for the extending Maternal Care After Pregnancy (eMCAP) mobile healthcare unit, and also serves as a medical director of the Parkland Center For Innovation and Value (CIVP).
