Charisse Loder, MD is an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Michigan Medicine, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She completed medical school at Penn State School of Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Strong Memorial Hospital, in Rochester, NY. She completed a fellowship in family planning at the University of Michigan. Dr. Loder joined the faculty at Michigan Medicine, where she specializes in complex family planning and pregnancy loss. She is the program director of the fellowship in complex family planning. Her research interests are in medical education and reproductive justice. She has collaborated with reproductive justice advocates across the country to develop educational materials for medical students regarding reproductive autonomy, justice and policy.
