Johanna Finkle is an OB/GYN and Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Kansas. She is also a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She has developed a weight management clinic within the OB/GYN Department to focus on the treatment of obesity in women. She received her MD from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She completed her OB/GYN residency at Medical College of Wisconsin. Her research focuses on preconception weight loss in Hispanic women with obesity. She is also interested in weight management strategies during perimenopause and menopause.
