Dr. Kathleen Morrell is the Associate Chair of Education, Director of theFamily Planning and the Residency Program Director in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Morrell received her MD from SUNY Upstate, did residency at Albert Einstein/Montefiore in the Bronx, and completed her MPH and fellowship in complex family planning at Columbia University. She is currently District II Treasurer, an active member of the District II Legislative Committee, and on the current ACOG Committee for Scientific Program. She is the medical advisor for the NYC Department of Health’s CATCH program offering reproductive health services in public high schools, moonlights for Planned Parenthood, and was a Reproductive Health Advocacy Fellow and graduate of the Leadership Training Academy with Physicians for Reproductive Health.
